Nearly a quarter million cars a day travel through Orlando on I-4. During peak season, expect stop-and-go traffic on that stretch from 6:30 to 9am and 3:30 to 7pm.

Familiarize yourself with the secondary roads and alternate routes BEFORE your trip, and skip the bumper-to-bumper altogether. Try to leave the parks a half hour before closing, or wait until 45 minutes after to avoid gridlock.
