UPDATE (4/18/2009): Now here's an official video from DisneyParks! From WDWnews.com:
EDITOR'S COMMENTARY: I wonder how long they bandied this idea about before they went ahead with it. Think about it: lovable character or not, Remy is still a rat, and he's being wheeled out in front of unsuspecting guests having dinner! I'm glad they went ahead with the concept, and I really do hope we see more Living Characters in situations like this throughout the parks. Interesting to note that Remy, like Lucky the Dinosaur, is only going to be around for a limited engagement before they send him off to another Disney park somewhere around the world. You gotta wonder, did they only build one of him? |
